RAW GOES LIVE
Following on from hugely successful student competitions with Basement Jaxx, Ministry of Sound, and most recently Bestival, the JDO RAW 2019 brief is here.
For JDO RAW 2019, the brief for students is to create a 0% alcohol spirit brand that captures the mindset of the Generation Z audience. From creating the brand and its identity, to the pack design and format, we would like you to bring to life your new product in its own brand world experience. The competition is open to all second and final year students to complete as part of their coursework, or in their own time.
Your focus should be on branding and pack design. Support your thinking with sound consideration of what your spirit will consist of (e.g. is it Gin inspired? Whisky inspired?). Consider the shape, print effects, flavour profile, point of sale and digital platforms. Create touchpoints which matter to your brand's look and feel.
A maximum of 6x A3 boards (as 300dpi jpgs) and a written statement outlining your design intent and rationale, on no more than one side of A4 (as a PDF).
Alternatively, you can send a video or animated files (in MP4 format). Physical submissions will also be accepted.
All entries to be received either electronically or by post, by end of day (11:59pm) Sunday 19th May 2019.
