It is a problem - I do annoy the family. I have to stop and trample through any shop that has vinyl records, or go crate digging at the local village fete to find hidden classic gems, or some unknown treasures.

I was the lost teenager in the legendary Beano’s in Croydon in the 80’s. Quite a few design concepts in my day job have found inspiration from record sleeves, as they’re so unique and personal, they tell a story and can truly reflect their owners. Sorry to say my daughter's been bitten by the bug too.

Along with the vinyl,  I still can’t get enough of new live music. I’m not talking those old fellas who turn out on world tours, I’m more a regular - for as long as I can remember - at the Electric Ballroom, 100 Club or the The Troxy, hearing the next big thing first hand. I’m quite proud that after a number of trips to Glastonbury I’ve only seen one weekend headliner: The Cure.

That leaves the fire-pit. My favourite place to talk (music of course) have a beer or 2 and look at the stars. Heaven.
