Tim has Retired!

Tim and Paul launched JDO in 2002, driven by a shared belief in the power of smart, beautiful design to transform brands and effect change. It’s a philosophy and a passion that has built a multi award-winning business working with some of the biggest and best-known brands including Carlsberg, Dove, Jack Daniel's and PepsiCo. 

But in 2018, after 30 years in the industry, Tim has decided to step down. 

It’s been a difficult decision to make – one of the hardest. I love this business and am immensely proud of what we have built.  After 16 years at the helm of JDO, the time feels right to step aside and allow a newly structured team to shape the future of the agency.

We set up the business to produce the very best creative solutions for brands – be it design, 3D, innovation, UX – and that ethos remains the same. Creativity continues to be the beating heart of the agency.

So what next? Well after more than half of my life in brand-land I feel I’ve earned a few months off to mull on the future and reflect on the past. It’s an exciting prospect, and I leave knowing the future of JDO is in the best hands.”

The new leadership team will be co-founder Paul Drake who remains as Executive Creative Director & CEO; Ben Oates, Group Creative Director; Fiona Florence, Managing Director; and Simon Dives as Financial Director.
