Account Manager, UK

You will ensure the smooth, seamless running of the client's business whilst supporting the accounts, creative and production teams within the agency.

You will be the right-hand person to your client director. A professional, self-sufficient account manager and a brilliant organiser, you understand the pressures and joys of working in a busy global design agency, and love the challenges each day brings. It’s a varied, tough yet stimulating role. 

A client-facing ambassador for JDO, you will be the bridge between our clients and our bustling studio, managing design projects from inception through to completion, whilst building solid and enduring internal and client relationships. You will add value every step of the way, providing best in class admin support and delivering to the highest level whilst remaining calm, can-do and retaining that all-important sense of humour. A strategic thinker, you'll engage brilliantly with clients, from taking briefs to presenting creative work.

Passionate about creativity but also appreciating that great design is nothing without great execution, your beady eye for detail means that you avidly copy-check creative work to ensure everything gets delivered to clients with confidence and perfection. A stickler for planning and organisation, you can create a detailed time plan, so everyone on the project knows where they are at any given time, so we always hit deadlines. Looking after the day to day running of key accounts, you will also keep tight financial control over each project - making sure clients are all up to speed with quotes and invoices, and making sure jobs don’t go over budget.

An all-seeing, all-knowing oracle who forgets nothing and just gets it all done, keeping designers and clients well informed - with the sole purpose of delivering phenomenal world class design solutions on time, on brief, on budget and on-brand.



  • A degree, or marketing/design qualification, or experience in the design industry
  • A genuine passion for design and branding 
  • A great team player, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to build and develop solid client relationships
  • Attention to accuracy in all aspects of the role, from quotes, contact reports and proposals to filing, copy checking and presenting
  • Self-motivated and flexible, with a positive and robust attitude and good negotiation skills
  • Outstanding time management skills and ability to create and implement detailed time plans 
  • Great communication skills with the ability to articulate your thoughts and present clearly to the team and the client
  • Good Mac skills including Word, Keynote, Numbers & Fast Track Schedule (FTS training will be available)
